Brandon Nickerson – Director, Federal Business Devleopment, Sinclair, Inc.
Brandon Nickerson is the Director of Federal Business Development at Free State Strategic Services, Sinclair’s state, local, and federal business development arm. Coordinating across Sinclair’s national footprint, he serves as a lead on outreach to the Federal Government, manages its Request for Proposal (RFP) process, and overseas business development opportunities across a variety of sectors, including Higher Education, Tourism, Healthcare, and non-profit space. His day to day responsibilities include overseeing more than a dozen city, county, and statewide multi-year contracts as well as Sinclair’s Federal GSA schedule contract. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Sales Manager at Valens Global, a small counterterrorism and national security consultancy. He has more than 15 years of experience in business development and has served in a variety of roles during his professional career, including on Capitol Hill, at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and with several Consulting Firms in Washington, DC
